- Description: Addisons was founded nearly a century ago to provide the people of Teesdale with land management and estate agency services. By the early 1950ís we were also operating a successful auction business selling everything from antiques to livestock. The profile of the saleroom has risen dramatically in recent years with the appointment of Richard Edwards as senior valuer and auctioneer. Richard joined the firm in 2003 having previously been a specialist with Sotheby's and Doyle New York. He has increased the number and quality of the general sales and introduced eight specialist sales a year.
