• Description: Auction-Plus is a well established family run business which has been trading for over 30 years. Originally being in the antique overseas shipping trade we have since grown to offer a wide range of related services, to include, In house auctioneering, with regular quality catalogued auctions. House clearance service offering additional benefits well beyond our competitors, and a rubbish removal service that caters for specialist disposal requirements as well as recycling of general waste. In addition to this we also supply transport, removals and storage facilities.

• Postage & Packing: We can arrange mainland delivery and or overseas shipping of any lots at the cost of the purchaser. Larger mainland deliveries can be carried out by our own transport on a reduced cost per mile basis. Larger overseas items can be shipped through one of our regular agents at our negotiated discounted rates. Smaller items will be packed and posted via one of our nominated parcel carriers. In all cases we will be able to provide an approximate cost prior to shipping, alternatively you may make your own arrangements provided these are made and agreed with us within four days of the sale

All lots are ‘Sold As Seen’. It is up to the prospective buyer to examine the goods and satisfy themselves as to the age, value and condition of individual items. Where a prospective buyer is unable to view an item we will endeavour to give a full and honest description of any item upon request by either phone or email but are unable to give guarantees on faults which may be missed or errors of omission.
All item descriptions are for guidance only and are of our own opinion and cannot be taken as a statement of fact.
Whilst we do our best to give a full description it does not by any means act as a guarantee unless otherwise stated at the time of sale. All lots will be subject to Buyers Premium on top of the final hammer price on each and every lot. The Buyers Premium will be as advertised in the sale room on the day of any particular sale, and may vary accordingly from time to time. (Currently 15% minimum of £1 per lot) VAT is chargeable on all buyers premium unless the seller is VAT registered. On rare occasions where the seller is registered it will be stated within the individual Lot descriptions.
All lots must be paid for and removed from the saleroom on the day of the sale unless an agreement is made with the Auctioneers. Delivery of large items can be arranged for a minimal charge. Please enquire before purchase if you may require transport. Shipping can be arranged through our agents to all parts of the world at the purchaser’s expense. Prospective buyers not already known to us who wish to leave commission bids or bid by telephone must lodge credit / debit card details prior to bidding unless they are present in the room and submit a deposit by credit card prior to the sale. Those present in the room must provide photo ID on first registration.
If then successful in obtaining the item at a price lower than the deposit left, or if unsuccessful in winning the bid at all, then any difference or the full amount where applicable will be refunded to the prospective purchaser through our credit card facility.
Any item purchased by way of commission or telephone bidding & having been paid for in full as in point (5) above, must then be collected from our storage facilities within seven days of the sale in which they were purchased. Anyone wishing to use our shipping service or that of our agents must agree to do so within seven days of the sale in which the item was purchased. They must also make full payment for shipping before any such goods will be despatched. If goods purchased by way of commission or telephone bids are not collected or it has not been agreed to ship via our own service within seven days of the sale, then a storage charge will be incurred on a daily basis. The goods will not then be released until such charges are paid.
If full payment is not made for items purchased, for shipping and or storage where applicable within 28 days of any such amounts being due, then the goods in question will be disposed off to cover any such costs. Any monies already paid by such a purchaser will then under no circumstances be refunded and any shortfall on the balance will still be owed.
A successful winning bid at auction whether made in person or through an agent or by way of a commission or telephone bid is a legally binding contract, between the auctioneers and the successful bidder. The bidder must therefore pay for the goods plus any auctioneers charges. If any such goods are not paid for then the auctioneers can if they so choose to take legal action for breach of contract under British law. Payment Methods Cash Cheques made payable to SOLUTIONS INTERNATIONAL on transactions over £20.00 subject to the limit of a valid cheque guarantee card. All major credit and debit cards accepted including American Express, however there is an additional 2.5% surcharge for this method of payment.
