CONDITIONS OF SALE
The highest approved bidder shall be the purchaser. If any dispute arises as to who was the last or highest bidder, the lot shall be retracted. The Auctioneer can re-offer any disputed lot at his discretion.
No bidder shall advance less than a sum to be named by the Auctioneer and the Auctioneer has the right to refuse any bid.
The seller can place a reserve on any lot and the Auctioneer shall have the right to bid on behalf of the seller.
The purchaser of each lot shall give his or her name and address and pay the whole of the purchase money to the Auctioneers at close of sale, or at any other time as requested by the Auctioneer.
The lots shall be at the sole risk of the purchaser, at the fall of the hammer. The purchaser may be required to pay down the whole or part of the purchase price, in default of which the lot or lots so purchased shall be put up again and re-sold.
All statements contained in the sale catalogue as to any lot are made without responsibility on the part of the vendors or auctioneers and such statements as to authenticity, genuineness, age, condition, or quality of any lot are statements of opinion and are not to be taken as statements or representations of fact. Intending purchasers must satisfy themselves by inspection or otherwise as to all such matters and as to the physical description of any lot.
All lots are sold with all faults, imperfections and errors of description. Prospective buyers will be given ample opportunity at viewing times to examine lots which are to be offered for sale and will be assumed to have done so. They must rely solely on their own skill and judgement as to whether any lot is fit for any particular purpose.
Should the purchaser wish to insure their property, this is entirely their own responsibility from the point of sale, and the Auctioneers will accept no responsibility for loss or damage of any kind after the point of sale.
If any purchaser refuses or neglects to comply with these conditions, the lot or lots of such purchaser, together with any deposit money now paid, shall be forfeited and the auctioneers shall be at liberty to resell the same in a manner they may think proper and the deficiency, if any, of any such second sale, together with all expenses, shall be made good by the defaulter of this sale.
ALL BIDS ARE ACCEPTED ON THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE ABOVE CONDITIONS
