  • XTREMELY RARE EDISON LAMP - One of the Original Thomas Edison Laboratory Test Lamps, made during his development of the filament, which was the greatest stumbling block to this invention, he went through many versions to find one that would burn without self-destructing. This sample is cemented into its original turned wooden base, with two screw posts for DC connection. Includes original tag that reads 'Presented by Thomas A Edison, Oct 21, 1879, one of his first successful lamps' and pamphlet,;"Thomas a Edison" by the John Hancock Insurance Company, 1955. 7" tall overall, housed under a glass dome, very good condition. : ALL ESTIMATES ARE IN US DOLLARS $2,500.00 - $3,000.00
