  • John Bromfield Gay Rees 1912-1965, known as 'Brom', a folder containing : Book ' Portrait of an Artist', 6 private photographs ( 5 of which were reproduced in the aforementioned book), 2 copies of 'Festival of Britian 1951, Loan Exhibition, City Art Gallery , Bristol ' where ' Brom ' exhibited 4 paintings (53-56), initial cover design ( by Brom) and catalogue ' West Country Artists 1947,The Arts Council of Great Britain' ( exhibited nos. 3 , 18 & 20), Catalogue of Sculpture and Drawings, The British Art Centre' (exhibited Drawing nos. 17 & 22) , ' An Exhibition of Twentieth Century Painting, Western Region 1949' ( exhibited no. 26), Institute of Contemporary Arts invite to James Joyce evening, Jame Joyce poster 1950, copy of 1938 attendance record at Royal Academy, the extremely rare ivory Royal Academy Schools token marked ( admitted 13th Dec 1932 J.B. Gat-Rees......) and 3 pencil sketches all dated 1933 from the Royal Academy.
