JABARI

Artists: Juman Ajinah-Rashid, Amy Long & Tim Cook

Jabari was painted by the talented Daniel department store display team responsible for all the window and in-store displays. His artists were keen to show their support and appreciation of the African culture by presenting the vibrant colours and patterns of Africa on their lion.

Jabari's design also creates the connection between the Royalty of Windsor and the King of the Beasts, complete with magnificent crown. The lion's name, Jabari, means 'The Brave One' in Swahili.

Jabari was kindly sponsored by Daniel Department Store.

- Sculpture designed by leading UK sculptor Alan Dun from Bath.
- Handmade in the UK from hollow fibreglass
- Weight approximately 25kgs. (They can easily be carried by 2 people or by one strong person and fit in most large estate cars)
- Measurements: 180cm long x 60cm wide.
- Painted in acrylics with added crown
- Varnish: Easy On clear gloss anti-graffiti coating (manufacturer details: 20 year permanent life, withstands 100’s of cleans, Class 0 Fire Rated graffiti protection)

PLEASE NOTE - The auction houses have kindly waived their 25% sales commission, however VAT at 20% will be added to the hammer price of each lot
