Artist: Tracey English

Tracey is an illustrator and surface pattern designer living and working in SW London. She works primarily in collage creating images for commissions and licensing. Her clients include Quarry Books, Bloomsbury Publishing, Junya Watanabe (Comme des Garçons) Design House Greetings, Sellers Publishing, Deva Designs, Robot foods and many more.

Tracey said: 'I thought it would be fun to translate some of my Queen Guards characters onto the side of the Lion. The marching guards pose was recently recreated at the Lions of Windsor press launch, when four real Welsh guards mimicked the lion's artwork behind them!' The resulting photograph featured on the cover of the Lions of Windsor 2019 trail maps.

- Sculpture designed by leading UK sculptor Alan Dun from Bath.
- Handmade in the UK from hollow fibreglass
- Weight approximately 25kgs. (They can easily be carried by 2 people or by one strong person and fit in most large estate cars)
- Measurements: 180cm long x 60cm wide.
- Painted in acrylics
- Varnish: Easy On clear gloss anti-graffiti coating (manufacturer details: 20 year permanent life, withstands 100’s of cleans, Class 0 Fire Rated graffiti protection)

PLEASE NOTE - The auction houses have kindly waived their 25% sales commission, however VAT at 20% will be added to the hammer price of each lot
