Artist: Busy Buttons Creative Studio

The lovely Archie has been brought to life by children from all over the world who visited the Busy Buttons Creative Studio in Windsor this summer. The decoration was supervised by award-winning theatre and special effects designers Louella Fernandez-Lempiainen and Lautaro Lempiainen.

Archie features beautiful images from the children's imagination drawn onto hot air balloons and charming countryside scenes and images from children's favourite Winnie the Pooh. which were painted in acrylics by Lautaro Lempiainen.

Lautaro studied Design for Theatre and Performance and Special Effects and Technical Arts at the University of the Arts London, before working in the film, television and theatre industries as designer and maker on the James Bond film 'Quantum of Solace', Martin Scorsese's 'Hugo', Guy Ritchie's 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows', 'X-Men', 'The Boat That Rocked', 'MTV and the London Olympics' opening/closing ceremony.

The talented duo formed Busy Buttons Creative Studio to deliver high-quality weekly learning programmes for children and adults and fun and educational creative camps during school holidays.

Archie was kindly sponsored by Headline Sponsor Windsor Yards.

- Sculpture designed by leading UK sculptor Alan Dun from Bath.
- Handmade in the UK from hollow fibreglass
- Weight approximately 10kgs. (Easily carried by one person)
- Measurements: 100m long x 45cm wide.
- Painted with acrylics with added paper artwork
- Varnish: Easy On clear gloss anti-graffiti coating (manufacturer details: 20 year permanent life, withstands 100's of cleans, Class 0 Fire Rated graffiti protection)

PLEASE NOTE - The auction houses have kindly waived their 25% sales commission, however VAT at 20% will be added to the hammer price of each lot
