Lot 1 An 18th Century Russian Silver Tumbler, Moscow 1784 with Alderman Fyodor Petrov maker's stamp along with c.e. and A.B. punch marks. The sides embossed and chased with eagles perched amongst foliate crested scrolls. The interior gilded, 3 in (7.5 cm) in height.
Lot 2 A Set of Six Russian Silver Handled Knives with Riga import marks, embossed with garlands of laurel tied in ribbon, the gilt blades etched and engraved with Rococo scrolls, 6¾ in (17 cm) in length.
Lot 5 An American Sterling Silver Gorham Style Cigar Lighter, modelled in the form of a classical oil lamp; the dimpled squat body decorated with applied foliage, bird, butterfly and lion, 2 in (5 cm) high, 5 in (12.75 cm) wide.
Lot 6 An Elkington Silver Plated Relief Cast Rectangular Clock Face with French movement. The brass dial flanked by a pair of winged classical figures, and surmounted by a globe, manuscript scrolls and sprays of laurel with cherubs blowing horns either side. The movement stamped O Bergere 1346 Paris, Japy Fils Medaille d'Argent 1844 (lacking bell & pendulum). 13 x 10 in (33 cm x 25.5 cm).
Lot 7 A Delightful Victorian Silver Centre Piece hallmarked Birmingham 1879 with FE maker's initials. The shallow bowl having a decorative border of Renaissance style foliate scrolls and face masks, held aloft by the figure of a faun reclining on the circular base with scroll feet, 8 in (20 cm) in height.
