A Pair of Unusual 17th Century Carved Walnut Pricket Candlesticks. The iron spikes with chip carved drip pans, mounted on the heads of silhouette cut twin-tailed mermaids enriched with carving. The figural supports on ball knopped stems and round moulded bases, 37cm (14½'') in height.
