glazed composition shabti with mummiform body, hands crossed over chest holding two hoes, seed bag to the back of the left shoulder; wearing a tripartite wig and false beard, text of Chapter 6 ('the shabti chapter'"") horizontal lines of hieroglyphs to the body, supporting pillar to the back. 419 grams, 20cm (8"") Fine condition, water worn. Property of a London gentleman; acquired in the 1970s.
