WARTIME MEMORABILIA. Including official military photographs of Dispatch Riders on their motorcycles,
riding through rivers and off duty, offroading etc. They would appear to be early single cylinder Triumphs, all bearing OHMS front plates. Numbers include B-6611, EC1188, AO1 878 (11). Also an original newspaper copy where the photographs appeared in 1915 under the heading, 'The New cavalry'. Various papers and military booklets, regimental crest and wooden Re carved plaque. Five Regimental Xmas Cards including The Royal Scots, The Border Regt, RMC, Gordon Highlanders, Irish Guards etc. A Gt War scroll awarded to Pte Ernest William Crouch. Number 427768 KIA 9th August 1918. Husband of Elizabeth Crouch of 23 Sidney St, Gloucester, aged 34 years.
